I have stayed at this <span onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)" class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">location</span> several times over the past 5 years while it was a Comfort Inn Hotel and I have always been pleased with the quality of the rooms and service. When I made my reservation this time, I was surprised to learn that the Hotel was now an <span onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)" class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Americourt</span>.<br /><br />When I arrived at the <span onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)" class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">Americourt</span> Hotel in <span onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)" class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7">Elizabethton</span> to check in, I <span onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)" class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8">immediately</span> noticed a musty smell in the hall. This should have been a warning sign to leave and stay somewhere else. However, due to the many pleasant stays I enjoyed while the Hotel was a Comfort Inn, I proceeded to check in and head to the room.<br /><br />When I opened the door to our room, I was almost overcome by the musty, moldy, smell. We turned on the AC unit and vented the room. This helped <span onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)" class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9">a lot</span> with the smell, however, it was still highly unpleasant.<br /><br />As a warning to other travelers in the <span onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)" class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10">Elizabethton</span> area, I have compiled a list of major problems during our stay at the <span onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)" class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_11">Americourt</span> Hotel.<br /><br /></span><span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:180%;" > 1. There were also stains and hair in replacement towels obtained from the maid.
